刚买了块酷鱼7200.10 160G PATA硬盘，把全部空间都给了华镭。
装好后，第一次重启，发现提示：
ALERT! /dev/hda1 doesnot exist! Dropping to a shell!
然后便进入了busybox命令行。
/dev/hda1是/分区。
进入系统救援后，可以mount /dev/hda1，chroot进入后使用命令：
#fdisk -l
输出：
/proc/partition: no such file...
请问这是怎么回事？是不是硬盘跳线没设好？还是分区时有问题？我用的是Reiserfs格式。
装好后，第一次重启，发现提示：

系统重装了一次，结果按照以前的照样配置网络，死活也上不了网。
重启到windows是可以上的。我用的是静态IP，子网掩码，网关，DNS等都设好了。
唉，不能上网，什么事也干不了啊。

首先问一下，r2能实现xgl效果吗？
升级r2之后，按照wiki里的办法安装显卡驱动，执行：
# apt-get install linux-headers-2.6.17-2-686
# apt-get install nvidia-kernel-source
# apt-get install module-assistant
# m-a update
# m-a a-i nvidia
最后一步出现编译失败：
/usr/src/modules/nvidia-kernel/nv/os-interface.c: In function

刚刚看到的Wiki：
RAYS 2.0，内部开发代号为Baihong
RAYS 2.0 beta1将于3月28日发布，届时将提供Baihong软件包仓库，zidian (RAYS 1.5)用户可以通过网络在线升级的方式试用Baihong。计划中的RAYS 2.0正式版本将于9月底发布。
RAYS 2.0 Roadmap
详尽的RAYS 2.0路线图将于3月的第三周公布。
长达半年的Beta期，真够长的。
如果这次网络升级没有白鼠死在路上，那Baihong做的可真是不错了。不管怎么样，期待吧！

Rays白虹本月就要发布了，能穿上一件印有openrays.org图标的文化衫对我们镭友来说真是莫大的骄傲！光看着校园里Linuxer们穿着Ubuntu，SuSe，Fedora，甚至vim的文化衫走来走去，那心里就是无比的羡慕啊！
建议新华在发布Rays2.0的同时发布Rays baihong文化衫，到时候Aprilgogo会穿着文化衫，蹬着溜冰鞋满北京城里转！(怎么着也是校园大使啊，哈)
请广大镭友们为Rays文化衫投上一票，让我们走动的身影，变成对Rays最好的宣传！

以前在学校就觉得people的速度无法跟正式源相比。最近回家了，发现山东网通连上people后速度竟然不超过10K。
实际上，很多华镭官方不能提供的软件都放在people里了，例如w32codecs，还有一些更新的软件包，例如ff2,vim7。这是对华镭不太丰富的软件仓库的一个补充。如果people的速度提不上去，对软件包的下载，甚至是华镭的推广应该是个不小的麻烦。
不知道大家访问people的速度如何？

I was always wondering why Ubuntu Linux became so popular within couple of years. There are thousands of other Linux distributions, some of them are more then 10 years old, but Ubuntu became so popular in a short period of time.
The Ubuntu founder, Mark Shuttleworth claims Ubuntu has more then 8 million users, while others say that ‘I could believe that there are 8-million total Linux desktops out there’.
Simplicity is my friend
Ubuntu is a good example of Desktop Linux. And indeed, they are following their ‘Linux for human beings’ slogan. Ubuntu comes with perfect graphical installer, graphical desktop, easy menu, good applications repository and etc. Ok, you can say, other distributions provide even better 3D desktops, more applications in repository, easier menu and etc. I think Ubuntu is a bright example of ‘good user experience’, which means that it is created by humans and for humans.
Does money matter?
Yes, a lot. Mark is a well known person (2nd Space tourist). Ubuntu core team has professional programmers, and they get good salaries (I think so), besides thousands volunteers suggest new features, report bugs and translate OS into other languages.
Correct and targeted marketing and PR is 50% of success in anything. Well, good marketing needs good investment. Thus, I think that there are really good Linux distros somewhere, which can compete with Ubuntu, but they are in shadow because not much people know about them.
ShipIt is a good marketing example
Many people think: ‘Someone is distribution free CDs…. Uhhh.. I better get more…for myself, my friends, my parents, my classmates, my dog and cat… :)’. The marketing mechanism worked perfectly and at the end millions of free CDs with Ubuntu were in many houses over the world. Many people who never used Linux before tried Ubuntu. At least 3 from 10 liked it, and now these people are proud Ubuntu users.
Get the revenue later
I don’t think that Canonical is covering the Ubuntu development expenditures with commercial support. The system works here as following: make a good product, give it for free, get a lot of users, and then take money.

Ubuntu is a good Linux distribution. Like openSuse, Mandriva, Xandros and many other distributions it is a good desktop alternative to existing systems. I also use Ubuntu for couple of years, and …. I am happy with it.
The Ubuntu Phenomenon is example of Linux success story and I hope soon we hear about many other success stories.

位于Debian Stalbe中的dev-help-*包，对软件开发很有用处，我手动下载了几个包安装使用，没有问题。

我想在系统启动时自动以aprilgogo的权限执行vncserver命令，于是在/etc/init.d下加入如下脚本：

然后在/etc/rc5.d下做了链接：
